Secondary Transition

The Nottingham Emmanuel School
There are 2 transition booklets for each student to complete before returning in September. These booklets will be sent home in the next week. You will need to bring these booklets with you in September.
On Thursday 11th June at 6pm, Emmanuel are hosting a live stream online, which can be accessed via their school website.
Bluecoat Wollaton Academy
A virtual transition booklet has been sent out via email. A copy of the booklet can also be found on the school’s website. There are two activity packs within the transition booklet, which your child should complete before returning in September.
On Wednesday 10th June, Bluecoat Wollaton are hosting a live stream online, which can be accessed via their school website.
Nottingham Academy
A transition booklet has been sent to parents and carers in the post. If you visit the school’s website, there is extensive information about Year 7 provision, as well as a section on meeting your child’s new teachers. The school has asked that if you have any questions regarding transition, to contact transition@nottinghamacademy.org.
The Redhill Academy
Three transition booklets have been sent to parents and carers in the post. You should have received these at the end of last week.
The Carlton Academy
Carlton Academy are currently working on their transition package and have not yet finalised any details. Once they have done so, they will share these with parents. In the meantime, if you have any questions or queries, please contact office@theacademycarlton.org.
NUAST
The academy have not yet released any transition information regarding Y7 transition. However, you can contact transition@nuast.org if you have any questions or queries.
Nottingham Girls’ High School
The school have been in contact with parents regarding transition. If you have any further queries, please contact enquiries@not.gdst.net
The Kings School, Grantham
The Kings School will be in contact with parents and carers in the coming weeks to share their transition plans.
This week, your child will be starting to complete a transition to secondary school booklet, either at school or at home. The activities within this booklet have been designed to support your child as they make the important journey to the next stage in their school career. We understand that the transition process may be different this year, and we are hoping to support our children as much as possible with feeling confident for their September start.

Throughout the transition programme pupils and parents/carers are encouraged to ask any questions that they may have in order to gather as much information that they can.
