International Partners

We think it is very important to open the world up to children and allow them to gain an understanding of countries and cultures that are different to their own.

 

Through the teaching of their everyday lessons, all of the children from F1 – year 6 will be provided with opportunities to learn about/experience what life is like for people all over the world and compare this with their everyday experiences.

 

The children will have the chance to listen to music from a variety of cultures, learn to play instruments from around the world, taste food from different countries and have the chance to have a go at speaking new languages.

 

The children will also be given the exciting opportunities to link up with schools from all over the world therefore gaining a first hand in sight into how other children and their families live. More recently children have had the chance to link with schools in Nottingham, France, Germany, Taiwan and Singapore with more exciting projects being planned for the future.

We also have a number of link schools in a range of countries through the ‘Dear You’ Project.
