We are delighted to share with you the Ofsted Inspection report from our two-day Section 5 inspection on 30th – 31st January 2024. 

It gives us great pleasure to share that the Ofsted inspectors concluded that:

Sneinton St. Stephen’s is OUTSTANDING in all areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management and Early Years Provision), resulting in an

Overall Effectiveness of OUTSTANDING for the School.

We are delighted that the Ofsted report celebrates our school community as ‘thriving’ and recognises the person-centred ethos of our school. It celebrates the strong relationships within our community and the ambition that our staff, families, governors and Trust have for our whole school community. We are so proud of our children, who were recognised as being proud of our school, with an ‘exceptionally’ strong voice and making a ‘significant’ contribution to the life of school. We are also incredibly thankful to all parents and carers who shared their views on the Ofsted survey and spoke with inspectors.

This report celebrates an ambition and pursuit of excellence for all, which has been years in the making, and we would like to recognise the compassionate and dedicated leadership and wide-ranging partnerships that have helped to grow and nurture this community over many years.

It cannot be understated what an achievement this recognition is for our school community. The benchmark for an outstanding grading is the highest it has ever been. To have retained the judgement from our previous inspection in 2011 is an incredible achievement.
