Governance

Our Governing Body plays an important role in the leadership of Sneinton St. Stephen’s.

Governors work alongside school leaders to shape our strategic direction, provide support and constructive challenge, and ensure that our decisions remain focused on providing the very best for our children.

They bring a range of experience and expertise, know our school and community well, and share our ambition for every child to flourish.

Our governors help to:

  • shape and protect our vision, values and strategic direction
  • hold leaders to account for the quality of education

  • oversee safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing

  • ensure resources are used effectively

  • understand and represent our children, families and community

  • strengthen our distinctive Christian character

All those responsible for governance fulfil their roles and statutory duties extremely well.

There is a shared, ambitious vision for the school, which is fully realised and evident across all areas of the school’s provision.
