Living out our Christian vision

Sneinton St. Stephen's was inspected under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) in January 2024.

The inspection found that Sneinton St. Stephen's is living up to its foundation as a Church school, recognising how our deeply embedded Christian vision enables children and adults to flourish.

What inspectors found

Inspectors recognised that our Christian vision is deeply rooted in the life of Sneinton St. Stephen's and shapes our relationships, curriculum, worship and wider community.

They highlighted:

  • the way our Christian vision is lived out across school life
  • a strong sense of belonging, compassion and care within our diverse, multi-faith community
  • inspirational and meaningful collective worship
  • a rich and vibrant Religious Education curriculum
  • strong partnerships with Transform Trust, churches and the Diocese. 

The report particularly recognised the way our Christian foundation supports an inclusive community, describing a “rich awareness of a community working together” in which everyone can feel they belong. 

Sneinton St. Stephen's deeply embedded Christian vision is being explicitly lived out in this diverse community.
