Our Science teaching and learning is founded upon a passion of questioning and understanding concepts and phenomena that occur in the world around us and providing our children with the motivation and ability to seek explanations for these wonders.

Our vision is for “All children are investigators and question the world around them through high-quality, hands on, in-depth science teaching enabling them to think critically about real-life situations, now and in the future.”

We provide an innovative, relevant and cross-curricular experience of Science teaching and learning, through the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics. In line with the National Curriculum, our curriculum design ensures that our children develop scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding of the nature, processes and methods of Science through different types of enquiries; answer scientific questions about the world around them; and are equipped with the working-scientifically skills required to understand the uses and implications of science, today and in the future.
